Can hardly make out what they’re saying on these with those strong Mancunian accents.

We have fans with non English accents. Being near a team doesn't mean you have to support them and not another team. If that were the case, I would be an Eastbourne Borough fan, we would have a fair few Lewes fans etc. Plus I have a United friend who's dad and uncle are mancs and support united, but lives down here with his southern mum, so has a southern accent. All sorts of reasons as to why someone might be a fan of another team.

Interesting concept. So if proximity were to be the determining factor, how far away would you allowed to be and still be a legitimate fan, and how many (if any) other clubs of what level would be allowed to be closer to where you live than the club you support?

I lived in Hove when I first watched the Albion and they were definitely the closest club of any stature. But now I live near Seven Dials and I think Whitehawk are marginally closer than the Albion. Could I support both? Would you be allowed one non-league club in addition to your league club? In your case, would the presence of Lewes between Eastbourne Borough and Falmer rule you out of supporting Albion?

What if you were an ex-copper who changed his name and the team he supports? Just as a purely theoretical example of course.

Mental thing about man u is that they don't have much more than a midtable squad these days. It is the managers fault as he bought most of the ex Ajax rubbish for big money, but it will be difficult for him to dig them out of this hole as they are punching within their weight.

How many of their players would get in our team ? Fernandes , mainoo, ermmm.

You might say de.ligt but he's been distinctly average for years and I would put van hecke ahead of him at this point.
