When the Albion did their homework on characters and personalities that would be suitable they certainly came up trumps with Veltman.
Considering those that may have scraped through any 'no dickheads policy' Velts contrastly exudes a thoroughly decent, loyal and warm personality, a team player with time and understanding for supporters. The club should be given credit for recognising him.

His ability to “win” a free kick when we are under pressure by simply stopping and then falling over should be cheered like the Gross turn.
