That's glorious on Rice. Slyly kicks ball away and rightfully gets second yellow. What's superb is Veltman knows he's there and might just connect when he swings his foot. And all the Arsenal mugs thinking decision will go to them

In the stadium the red card for Rice was the last outcome that supporters thought was coming. They were calling for Veltman to be punished for kicking Rice and not the ball.

It's only on the replay you see that Rice nudged the ball and it looks as though the referee got that decision right. Two very needless yellow cards for Rice.

Even funnier now I've just heard that it was Rice's first red card. For that!

I would love to beat them now, but I think regardless, that sending off has made my day. Rice has always been a bit of a cart horse and is certainly not worth the £100 million he cost. Stunk the euros out too.

He may have wanted to kick it into Rice, who was walking away, but he couldn't have predicted Rice kicking it first.
