I'd be amazed if the fee was anything above £0 to be honest.
£0 would be excellent business for us. Not so much for them.

Get a good fee, no doubt, sale is preferable, but I was thinking another loan wouldn’t be so bad ‘if’ the other club pay his salary…have a good season, and his value increases, we sell for more. After the season he’s had here, any potential fee must be quite low, but I guess if he has a bad loan his fee could be even lower. It’s always a gamble, but there are pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages to every scenario. ITBWT
It's far from important, but it's bugging me... that's not an initialism I am familiar with - what does it mean?

TIA!

He's probably going to be a Brighton player for another three years, and presumably spells the definite end of managers freely picking signings.

Best case scenario is probably a series of loans where Brighton keep paying the vast majority of the wages. Don't think he cares enough to accept being bought out from his contract for any less than he'd earn until the end of the contract, which is probably not something we're willing to offer.

Likewise there's realistically no club that would want to pay a fee for him, and/or be able to pay his PL wages.
Remember, this guy knows how football works better than most.

Impressive work by the club to move him on.

I don't think they've paid a fee and I don't think they're paying him PL wages. But yup, I was wrong about him not leaving.

I was not hopeful about getting rid of him but turned out to be wrong - well spotted - and all of those who thought we'd be able to get rid off him on a permanent transfer should certainly feel free to proudly step forward.

I know the club is impressive but I didn't think they could sell sand in Sahara.

It says undisclosed fee, so they must've paid something otherwise it would've been on the freemans. Shame it never worked out, but all's well that ends well. He's gone, wages are freed up and no unhappy player in the camp after deadline day.

The BBC says undisclosed terms not undisclosed fee.
