It would be like a dummy start to a tour, taking anticipation and hype away from the real thing. I don’t see it.They would have sold all their tickets several times over before Glastonbury even goes on sale.

LIam was the problem, he really screwed it for them in the US. Interesting to see if they toured the US now, would there be much interest? One of the times times Liam cancelled the tour to go house hunting with the wife…
There won’t be a Glastonbury in 2026.This, don’t think they’d give it away for free at this stage. MAYBE 2026 though.
Bit extreme just to stop Oasis from playing there. There won’t be a Glastonbury in 2026.
Booooooo!!!At the time, it was insanely exciting especially as I was living in Camden. I was a fan but not a huge fan; I backed blur in the head-2-head.
I only saw them just the once but I did see Noel popping up announced a few times. I do not get the argument they were rubbish live, unless this is a reference to the latter day band? Like many, I lost touch after the thrid album because 1) they went well and truly off the boil and 2) I was expanding my musical horizons into all manner of stuff.
I am intrigued by the amount of attention this reunion has got though; clearly a cultural phenomena even if it's one I will not join in with. I'm also intrigued how they never really broke big in mainland europe or the US.
It was the first time Newcombe and McGee has met, I believe, and they hung out with Oasis, partied and scored some drugs which were not quite what they thought they were. They were all up for about 3 days. This is quite a well know tale I think.Keep talking...
If some mishap befalls them both (heaven forfend), then I may have a space in my diary.Just been offered 2 free tickets for their opening night at Wembley in my friend's sponsors box. Free catering and drinks to boot. Don't mind if I do. Now do I take the wife or my son?
Aggressively derivative?I'm more referring to the style of music really.
Replace white with another word if it makes you feel more comfortable. Apologies if I offended you.
Do you mean Liam’s set from Reading festival that was on Sunday night? Was up late last night and had the tv on in the background and it was Liam's set at the IOW festival. Pretty much all Oasis songs. Lacked any energy or charisma and whined his way through it. Crowd seemed very flat. Is there really much interest in playing massively inflated prices for the other brother to turn up alongside him? I enjoyed Oasis at Glasto '95 but I'd be gobsmacked at a tour sellout nowadays and at stupid prices.
But here you are. Weird behaviour.
Seems very sensible to me. Shame they f***ed up this year. Sales of cotton wool and earplugs must have skyrocketed in Somerset for the Saturday nightBit extreme just to stop Oasis from playing there.
Not really. Just seeing if any compelling argument that I'm wrong. It's a cash grab as one of them has just paid up £20m in a divorce settlement. But here you are. Weird behaviour
I saw that after MOTD at the weekend. It was pretty mediocre, especially the murder of I am the walrus.Do you mean Liam’s set from Reading festival that was on Sunday night?
This tour will definitely sell out, this is massive
When will people realise it isn’t just about the music? If you don’t like them FINE, but to most it’s about a f***ing great time in our lives, memories, fun, love and laughter. Can we start a new thread for the anti Oasis dickheads to suck each other off on? Please?
