Marty & Olivia Willson-Piper - Grind (as a huge The Church fan I just love hearing Marty playing guitar ... and add some violin ...)

Have you watched the movie? I presume you must have.

Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. Starring David Bowie. Which is why some people may think this was his song.

I have adored Sylvian for decades.

This is for yesterday or the day before. I've not been on it. Some issues.

Nate Nicholl (B! machine) is an obsession of mine. I have a a hand written note when he sent me some unreleased stuff on a usb for 'reasons'.

It says that David Sylvian sang backing vocals on this DIVINE cover.

I was informed that Bowie covered it for a couple of tours? Brilliant Song whatever...

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Never heard of these before, but discovered on Qobuz streaming service.
Nice slow intro leading to a beautiful Reggae beat, what with NHC in full swing.

Hope this comes out ok as am no whizz on the new fangled computer thingy.
Myself and Mrs Surly saw her sing in the Maldives and she turned out to be a local lass from Brighton (smal world) and an Albion fan, so hope that passes the test of putting two songs on here. Second song has a badly behaved word in it .
Apparently playing an intimate gig at the folklore rooms (cant say Ive heard of it) in Brighton on 7th Sept assume in evening, Sorry but I unashamedly feel the need to plug and promote local bands/ artists.

There is no test to pass for posting two songs in one day. It's not done. Respect the thread my friend.

Harsh! If only because he’s posted a little-known? Brighton singer(and fan) and the poster is relatively new and others have done it before.

Your point is fair enough though and it remains a very good thread😊
