[Albion] The greatest transfer window in the club's history

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Last season our regular central midfield looked a bit lightweight.

Pascal Gross 1.81m (5'11")
Facundo Buonanotte 1.74m (5'9")
Adam Lallana 1.72m (5'8")
Billy Gilmour 1.70m (5'7")

And of that lot only Lallana had a noteable hand in previously winning any honours.

This summer's recruitment has solved both the issue of height and added players with winning experience.

Matt Wieffer 1.89m (6'2")
Eredivisie champion 22/23
Dutch FA Cup winner 23/24

Diego Gomez 1.83m (6'0")
Paraguayan champion 2022 + 2023,
2023 MLS/Liga MX cup winner

Ferdi Kadioglu 1.74m (5'9")
22/23 Turkish cup winner

Matt O'Riley 1.87m (6'2")
Scottish Premiership champion 21/22, 22/23, 23/24
Scottish Cup winner 22/23, 23/24
Scottish League Cup winner 22/23

Georgino Rutter 1.82m (6'0")
Brajan Gruda 1.78m (5'10")

Fingers crossed that winning feeling rubs off on the rest of the squad and we go on a serious cup run.

It might be the greatest.

The only comparable one I remember is under Micky Adams where we signed Rogers, Watson, (Lee)Steele, Jones, Kuipers, Carpenter, and Zamora and others.
I think you've merged a couple of transfer windows together there. But you're right that was a massive window for us. That first season back at Withdean, we got Rogers, Kuipers, Watson, Jones, Carpenter etc, we also got Oatway, Carr, Crosby, Newhouse, Cameron, Freeman, Cartwright in goal. I think we may have got Brooker in that window as well. But Steele and Zamora came later.

The '...signed a Mason Greenwood...' bit, plus the note to say it was edited by a moderator made it pretty clear to me what was there before.

Back to the OP, this current transfer window could be season-defining.
I'd go as far as to say that, if these signings fulfill their potential here, it could be era-defining.

Oh ok, fair enough.

I'm reading the site and can only go on what I see. If Guinness post was relating to things he wasn't quoting, it could be better to say that, so it's not misinterpreted. I wouldn't want something libellous posted here either. But I also don't want us to have to pretend Mason is anything other than a ****.
I'm sure you can call Mason a ****.
Many years back Skegness threatened Viz with a defamation case and demanded they withdraw their "Skegness is so Shit" sketch and some merch based off it.
Viz replied they would greatly appreciate the chance to go to court and prove that Skegness is shit.
