I never drive to the Amex but a mate is taking his son tonight and wants to park nearby.

What are the options?

Cheers all 👍

Needs to go on the club site and see if there are any car park spaces still for sale. If not then because there's no travel subsidy the only P&R is Mill Road and that's £7 tonight.

There is zero street parking. None.

Park On My Drive or similar might have a spot though. Could risk Wild Park but reckon that fills up early.

To clarify, P&R is £7 PER PERSON and the club say they are losing money on it.
Must be booked.

Where does the no parking zone extend to? Or to put it another way, Does anyone park and walk from Lower Bevendean?

On days like Saturday, I don't mind hanging around after. It's a bank holiday weekend and I'm in no rush. Spurs is a different story. 16 30 KO on a Sunday with a 3hr drive on top and I will lose my sense of humour after the game.

Looking on the Just Park sites, some of these jokers want 50 odd quid.

For P&R what time is it advised to arrive - how often do you get shuttled to the game? Never used it before so completely trying it out new!

To add...

If you get in early when fixtures are announced/moved, you can get driveway spaces for a tenner, give or take. They do get booked up quite quickly though - I guess a fair few away fans who drive jump on them.

Your Parking Space can be better than Just Park sometimes - I can see a space just not too far from Coldean Lane for £11.25 for the Spurs game. You'll get away a lot quicker than the club car parks too.

Drive to Brighton station & park there
4 hours for £6 ish - found it to be more reliable than P&R
Good shout.

One of my mates I went with moved to Steyning for a couple of years and he used to drive from there, pick us up, drive to Brighton and park in the station car park. Was normally fine, although there was one time where a gridlock in town kept us in the car park for an hour.

Thanks, he has got a spot at the uni. Cost £18 but nowhere is cheap to park is it.

Thanks. Much appreciated. I'm normally well catered for. My parents are 10 minutes walk from Lewes station as you've seen or I have a mate by the Park and ride in Mill Hill. Trouble is, both of those rely on transport after the game which is always a bind for the late games. I was reminded of this on Saturday with a Southern classic

-Get on train to Lewes doesn't move for ages.
-Barely audible announcement says train only stopping at Eastbourne due to "technical issues"
-Get off train, board still says stopping at Lewes.
-Lots of people doing the Hokey Cokey on and off the train. I daresay some poor sod sat on the train and watched helplessly as it went past the station they wanted to get off at.and ended up at Eastbourne.

I think at that point I decided that there must be another way. Early doors on the parking apps as you suggest is probably the answer. Saturday was also a perfect reminder why I don't (Well, very, very rarely) leave early.

You're well catered for after evening games tho eh? Half-empty 8 carriage trains going from Lewes in the direction of the sticks, while 3 carriage cattle trucks sporadically trundle towards Brighton. For evening games, SASTA appear incapable of aligning train length with the direction the majority of people want to travel. Doubt tonight will be any different

I'm EXTREMELY well catered for this evening. I have a fridge full of beer and a Sky Sports subscription to use #Badfan

I was looking out of curiosity how much a parking space would cost for tonight and almost choked on my Cheese on Toast when I saw that there were some going for 50 quid.
