...although...

Calling bollox on this. It is well documented we don't quote a price.
Make us an offer for a player we're not keen on selling - we say f*** off.
Come back with a higher offer - we say f*** off.
Repeat and rinse until either 1), they f*** off, or 2). they make an offer which we decide is acceptable.

If I was to make a guess (which I am) I think we would be interested in an offer of less than £65M - but not much less.

This close to the transfer window closing, I would assume we would want a deadline premium added to the transfer fee.

Can't see Arsenal matching our valuation, so all set up for Adingra to score the winning goal in a man of the match performance on Saturday to increase his value further

As the squad gets bigger we will have issues holding on to some of our amazing talent in reserve. We aren't Chelsea, we are not paying players above market rate to sit on the bench. So like WBG If a player ain't playing then it's gonna be hard to justify fanciful figures.

35-40m might just do it for andingra. What's really annoying is we will just sell him from our bench to go on their bench like trossard.

No no no. We can talk all we like about Man Utds defence criminally leaving the far post unmanned, but it took Adingra in the last minute with four defenders bearing down on him to spot that situation and produce the inch perfect cross to bypass eight Man U players. That's decision making and skill under pressure of the highest order. Don't give it away just because we've got a new young toy on the right wing and another season of Mitoma.

Anyway Arsenal have already got Martinelli and Trossard on the left and Saka on the right, they don't need him, they're not Chelsea.

So Paul Barber said 'I'd like to start negotiations at £65m'.

WTF is that? So a willing purchaser says 'Ok, we'll bid £65m, and Barber says 'No, too low'?
If we pretend the entire story isn't guff.
Mr Arse sidles up to Barber and mentions they're thinking about buying Adringa.
"Unless your opening offer is at least £65 million you are wasting everyone's time and I won't be sitting down with you let alone mentioning it to Tony"
Mr Arse sidles off again

The "last week of the window" tax will be eye watering.

Arsenal have had all summer to get a cheaper price.

It does feel like we might have one too many wide men and might struggle to keep them all happy. I really want Adingra to stay but would not be shocked if he left.

£40m gbp would probably be about right, African players never go for big fees.

Monster profit for one season playing with us. Basically Gruda would be free.

Amazing how quickly the end of last season is forgotten.

Even if we have no injuries at all, the ability to bring on high quality forwards/wingers, for the last 20 minutes, is a crucial advantage the top teams have.

Adingra to Spurs and Arsenal briefly did the Twitter rounds earlier in the window. Nothing of substance then and nothing much now.

We might sell but only at the right price for TB.

I’ve never understood fans who say: “yeah I’d take £60m” or whatever for a key member of the squad.

Fair enough for a fringe player but someone like Adingra? It’s not your money and surely as a fan, you’ve seen over the past two weeks the importance of having a deep squad.

If we do sell someone like him, I doubt we’d be able to replace him before Friday. I say keep and don’t even entertain any offers.
