Oooh now you've done it. Setlist for that gig, for me, would look like this...

The Hindu Times
To Be Where There's Life
Go Let It Out
The Importance of Being Idle
Little by Little
Lyla
The Shock of the Lightning
Gas Panic!
Turn Up The Sun
Part of the Queue
Soldier On
Stop Crying Your Heart Out

Something like that.
Something much like that.
I'd finish on Let There Be Love, and wedge Stop Crying Your Heart Out in somewhere earlier on. And I'd fit The Turning in from their last album.

Oh and I'd include Songbird. Mainly because I gather Liam didn't like playing it.

I saw them twice when they were supposedly at their best, and both times they were shite and upstaged by the support bands. For the most part they were great on record, but live - no thanks…..
IMHO, they should leave the legacy where it is
Who watches support bands?

*edit* unless you're a big fan of the support band and have come along especially to, er, support them

I watched David Bowie supporting the Groundhogs, at the Dome, in 1972

They never really broke America, just too arrogant for their own good.

I saw them at their height in Australia. Over there it was easy to get a ticket.

Lol the disappointment will be palpable.

It will be a best of. Last ever gigs. Open with Supersonic

Saw them in one time in Oz post-prime. Brisbane conference centre type place in the middle of a forest, served by a Falmer-esque train service.

Oh, and with renewed reunion interest I suppose my un-ironed 1996 North America tour teeshirt might yet find a buyer hurrah 😄

Oh definitely (maybe) and as it should be. That setlist was a "from the times they weren't as good" setlist.

Rock 'n Roll Star to open, Champagne Supernova to close. Classics.
