His commentating is awful, throwing in as many slang terms as he can and with dreadful "banter". He's very poor and won't be missed on the airwaves but he'll probably be back. Or maybe not even go anywhere, unless TNT put him in the shitcan as well.

No, I'll eat a meal and be grateful for it, my upbringing in the late 60s and early 70s sees to that. I find him insufferable, but I should have added he's like unseasoned food, as you say very bland.
Imagine how interminable they were.
