Its weird why we take so looong to announce some things.. By all accounts it is done and dusted. (Medical and signed, we are just waiting to see him holding the shirt up. Maybe as its a record deal its all about timing of the announcement rather than just making an announcement??
Brian Owen said in his verbal report it was imminent last night so I don't think there is anything sinister in the time delay.

I say the delay is just the club trying to ensure they rinse the hell out of the win yesterday on social media, before using Giorgi to fill the lull late tonight/ tomorrow morning.

He can train prior to being announced, happens quite regularly
