Former Premier League legend Wes Brown has exclusively announced his PL predictions for the forthcoming season, a player with a storied career and a student of the game it will be fascinating to see how his predictions pan out over the next rollercoaster 9 months.

Player of the Season: Lisandro Martinez

Man City: Champions
Man U: Runners Up
Liverpool: Top 6
Chelsea: Top 6
Arsenal: Won't win anything
Spurs: Ditto

Marcus Rashford: Needs a big season, hope he comes out the other side

Such clairvoyance. Maybe we should rename him 'Mystic Wes'?

Fun fact. I sat next to Wes Brown on a flight back from Malaysia a couple of years ago. He was doing some promotion work for United in the region with Denis Irwin. Lovely guy who didn't stop chatting about football... Very complimentary about the Albion.

A few weeks later it was announced he was bankrupt.

So he'll be off to Turkey soon to get some plastic surgery.

Alex Crook on Talksport this afternoon to preview the new PL season too, whilst he's their official football correspondence he simply won't hide his allegiance to Man U. He's persuaded Talksport to start their own Man U only podcast hosted by himself. As for his predictions:

MAN U: Top 4 and a trophy
MARCUS RASHFORD: Will come out of the other side

Ok I’ll play the prediction game by people who apparently know what they are talking about (check with trades descriptions on that one)…Guardian Football Weekly

Max Rushden kicks off with referring to our new manager as “a child” 🤦‍♂️

Barry Glendenning 7th
Jonathan Wilson. 11th
Some other guy I’ve never heard of. 15th
Wally Rushden. 17th

Arsenal: Not going to win anything
Liverpool: Outside the top 4
Chelsea: Much improved

I bet if you ask any of these "pundits" to rank/predict the table OTHER than where the "big six" are, they wouldn't have a clue.

They'll most likely just predict approx the same positions as last season for most clubs (and predict at least 2 of those promoted will go down), I doubt they've done much research to see what all the non-big-six clubs have done re transfers/managers over the summer to therefore predict if they'll have a better/worse than last year, and/or where surprises may happen.

What these "pundits" are not giving us, is any sort of insight or deep thought on this. Same goes for match reviews/MOTD etc... :D

Just listening to this. The lack of knowledge/research is shocking. Stealing a living.

Edit: btw Rushden predicted 15th

Why do papers, talking heads etc. throw out these predictions before squads are finalised? I guess the need to get them out before the season starts, but the predictions of where each team will finish articles that are produced well in advance of finished transfer business is...well...whatever it is.

I predict all 20 teams in the PL will finish in the top 20 in a not pre-determined order

Totally Football Show pandered much more to my needs, with 2 of them picking us as dark horses for top 6.
