I totally get that and agree re sections of society feeling disenfranchised, but the actions of many of those rioting are so utterly moronic that I have absolutely no empathy in this instance
I'm guessing because the vast majority of violence and destruction is coming from the right, as are the vast majority of the nazi salutes.
I was about to post the same. Johnson and his cronies promoted the whole "Levelling Up" con, but did precisely bugger all (except line their own pockets). Although the term is now discredited, some form of levelling up has to happen.

The only “Liberal affluent sort” that is mocking the underclass and feels good about these riots is ‘Nigel Farage’ - and ‘partly why Brexit happened’.
Don’t try and glorify the far right by conflating terror tactics with legitimate political protest. The ‘peasants’ here aren’t some noble group revolting against rich landowners or the Government - they are just revolting.

There's some cases apparently coming up in court tomorrow so hopefully we start to see these ****ers get what they deserve and get sent down.
