Ensuring your ground complies to minimum standards should really be a condition of Premier League membership. That includes making sure that stands don't leak. Same thing happens at Arsenal. It's lazy ownership and it's damaging to the product.
That the Glazers have allowed Old Trafford to decay to its current state, whilst creaming off their profits, is an absolute scandal.
But I don't see Ratcliffe / Ineos having much appetite to improve things, either. They seem hellbent on pushing for a new ground, and would rather point to this stuff as evidence that they NEED to do so.
Or, to be more accurate, hellbent on pushing for a taxpayer-funded new ground. From a man who is resident in Monaco.

Old Trafford is beyond help in my view. It needs demolishing and a new stadium built on the same site. United can pay for it themselves.

That includes us as well then. We've definitely had some leaks at the back of the North Stand during heavy rain this season. Nothing like Old Trafford of course, but will only get worse if not fixed.

Especially when you consider the club own around 100 acres of land in/around Old Trafford so identifying the site and planning permission would be a relative doddle.

ABSOLUTELY! Can you imagine paying £55 to go to a gig and the roof leaking on you?
Worst ground in all the leagues I've visited. Absolute shit hole.
