Yes, all good thanks. Google maps plus my sense of direction (for once!) got me through the side roads and popped out the right side of Lyons Farm without any fuss. One hour from Ferring Country Centre to the Bridge exactly as forecast.
There was a Japanese family in the WSU today - Mum with young baby, Dad, two kids in Albion kit. Their seats were split across three rows but a great effort by those around them moving seats had them sitting together ready for kick off.
I’ve a family event at Ferring tomorrow morning and then need to drive east for the game. For those that usually do that route how long is it likely to take me on a matchday please?
It's all going swimmingly so far - cosying up to Putin having failed to deliver on his promise to end the war in 24 hours, egg prices up with a member of his cabinet suggesting people buy chickens, stock market down, dollar down, global trade war just getting going, JD Vance insulting this...
Agree, good game and can see why both teams are doing so well. My grandson lasted until half time and his Dad had to take him home soon after - as I reminded him, his first game was at the Goldstone vs York City and we both saw less than 45 mins of football!
So, what now? Is there a role for Starmer to act as the mediator between Trump and Zelensky? Somebody has to and it feels like at the moment he is best placed to do that.
Seems like a lifetime ago when I did two Evening Argus paper rounds after school and was always at the newsagent on a Saturday evening waiting for the sports edition complete with match reports. Good grief I'm old.
