Having a bit of a comedy film watching splurge. So far have watched Life of Brian and Galaxy Quest, lined up to follow is Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Hot Fuzz and This Is Spinal Tap (not all in one go I hasten to add)

If you are in the mood for 3 hours of German comedy, which i don't think anyone feels they are, Toni Erdmann has some very very funny bits. And quite emotionally rich too.
