Semi final two. This one is HUGE. It's the third year in succession these two magnificent beasts have met at this stage of the tournament (for the stat lovers: one win apiece). They know each other inside out. I can't stress how important it is to THINK about your decision. Whoever wins this contest will not only take their place in the final, they will become the world record holder for number of appearances in a final. At the time of writing they have both appeared three times each in the final.

The semifinalists:
Saltwater Crocodile

Group Stage: 2nd Group A
2nd Round: Beat Blue Ringed Octopus
Quarter Final: Beat Orca
A three time finalist, this is the croc's EIGHTH consecutive semi final appearance. Is this going to be the year that he takes the final step and wins the whole tournament for the first time? He knows what he's up against in the semi having met him numerous times throughout the years.
So what is he bringing to the contest? A dual threat: He can kill on land or in water. Strength: he has the strongest bite per square inch of any animal alive. Its even more powerful than the estimated strength of a Tyrannosaurus Rex bite. Speed: tremendous burst of speed when propelling themselves into an attack. Killing Moves: The Death Roll. Once you're locked into a death roll there's no escape. The only creature to have its own named killing move. Hardiness: Can survive with a missing limb or tail and still terrorise all around it. Durability: Has outlasted the Dinosaurs.
Is that the package that will see the croc into the final of WHC VIII? YOU decide.

Vs
Honey Badger

Group Stage: 1st Group C
2nd Round: Beat Tardigrade
Quarter Final: Beat Grasshopper
As could perhaps be expected from the self styled 'people's champion' Honey Badger has sauntered into this last four match up. He's a three time finalist looking to go the full distance this year and take the trophy home for the first time. So, what is he bringing to the fight this year?
Well, its the same as always. He's bringing himself...and that self is a hard as nails body and a dont give a f@*! attitude. He's a small beast but very heavily muscled, possessing great strength in his jaws and viciously clawed arms. His attitude, once provoked into fight mode, is ferocious. He'll take on anything regardless of its size, including Lions and poisonous snakes. The latter of which he kills and eats. It's this willingness to ruck with all comers that makes him such a threat in this tournament. Is it enough to defeat his great rival and make the final for the second year in succession and the fourth in his career? We'll find out in 24 hours...
