Gutted for him, but he comes across well in that.

Hopefully he can keep his form next year, and establish himself as Heskey's replacement in the England setup for Euro 2012.

Got to feel very sorry for him, his Achilles injury couldn't have happened at a worst time in his career (Europa final, etc)

When his exclusion from the squad was announced, it could only have been injury that was preventing him from being picked -I think it was a brave decision to rule himself out of the World Cup squad but ultimately the right one for him and the team in the circumstances.

It would have been amazing to have seen a fully fit Zamora playing in the World Cup, but i think he has been a victim of Fulhams success and as a result the number of games they have played this year.
