How highly is 'Strange Magic' regarded by E.L.O. Fans?

Always loved the feel of that song.

No contest Mr Blue Sky a song that appealed to a wider audience but kept the uniqueness of ELO
Jeff Lynne a legend catch the concert for George to see him at his best

I'll second that. Not to forget the Travelling Wilburys as well.

Remember first hearing this! Blew me away!

Like I said earlier, Time is one of my favourite 2 ELO albums - excellent band at the top of their game.

Im a massive ELO fan, If you ever get the chance, read "The ELO story" by Bev Bevan. Unfortunately, the book is as rare as rocking horse shit. I bought mine with a weeks paper round money in 1980 (£4) and i still have it at home.

Favourite ELO album....probably "A new world record" but "Time" would come a close second with "Out of the blue" just third

Songs...."livin thing", "Mission", "Big Wheels" and "10538 overture"

FWIW, ELO can never reform as bassist Kelly Groucutt died a few years ago

Super thread US.

Time and Out of the Blue are almost perfect albums and just about every track is unforgettable. From those albums Horace Wimp and Mr Blue Sky stick out.

However, it is a later song that always does me. The simplicity and emotion of Ticket to the Moon can still bring a tear to my eye. Genius.
