Last week the O's promotion "charge" was looking a bit ropy after their 2-0 defeat at home to Lincoln.
Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling is concerned his side are still in danger of relegation after the Lincoln defeat.
Ling told the club's website: "We've gone seven games without a win now and we look like a team that's lacking in direction on the pitch.
"At this moment the bottom looks more likely than the top and we're only nine points off second bottom and they've got a game in hand.
But after a mighty 1-1 with Scunthorpe, Ling was more positive
"The winless run is eight, which is disappointing, but there was half a performance," the manager said.
"The resilience which stood us in good stead to take us away from the bottom of the table was also there.
