i think the train is about £26.50 that goes to the bristol temple and then you can get a taxi to the ground for a tenner so it works out dear but tis worth it

I was looking at group save tickets but found out Great Western won't take them on that date

the cheapest return is about 46 pound and thats leaving at 7 in the morning from bighton station and returning in brighton later that night at 10:43 so its up to you but seems alot of money to me .
