Would love to see the sailing, we're in with a good chance of several golds. But expect there'll be four seconds coverage at 4am, whilst prime time is taken up with hours and hours of swimming and athletics. They don't show it 'because most people don't understand what's going on', simply because boats don't sail in a nice made-for-telly little line like atheletes run, which leaves those who do understand and love the sport mightly pissed off.

Could be useful if you've got bbc digital as I gather they are going to give us a choice of what to watch by "pushing the red button". I imagine sailing will feature heavily along with clay pigeon shooting, 3 day eventing and pistol shooting, as that's where our medals tend to come from!
