I was kicked out of Watford by a copper in the fifth round FA Cup match in 1983/4 for singing 'Elton John is a homosexual', which was pretty tame, and also somewhat prophetic

Once or twice. Or maybe a few more times. Including an illustrious ejection from Horsham (YMCA, not their neighbours) for singing YMCA at them and intimating that the keeper and the manager were slightly more than best buddies. I think I may have been clipped round the ear and told never to darken their doors again, but I am not sure that counts as a lifetime ban these days!

Is bit of banter taken ott by the officials......twats.

In fa trophy replay at worthing last season we had issue with opposition keeper who decided to throw water over some of fans after he let in a goal, then he complained to ref during ht and they sent a steward who looked like roland from grange hill/byker grove (cant remember which he's from) who had a go at about 30 of us when we taunted keeper.......so we turned on him also.

Perhaps I should elaborate a bit further. I was pissed and dancing in front of the dugout at the time, and the match was still taking place. What did I know, I was only 16 at the time!

Worst thats happened is being told to stop insulting a linesman or be ejected (but sentiment agreed with) by a steward before. Came over to a group of us. Extremely tame...

Driving to games means no drink which means no ability to get too stupid.

Surely that's no different from chanting "Dick Knight has a white beard" at the Withdean??
