I don't really get the Plymouth thing, before all this stuff it used to be a f***ing horrible place to go.

Exactly. I can remember going to Plymouth as long ago as the late 60's and being told " If you go to Home Park, you're going to die ", and after the game needing a Police escort as some of their fans were waiting to ambush the coach.

I don't get this love in with other clubs, i have the Millwall school of thought "No one likes us, we don't care".

All my energy goes into supporting the Albion and not sucking up to the enemy.

Yes! This is exactly how I feel. During my teens and early twenties football hooliganism was rife and there was no such thing as "friendly" rivalry, even in the lower divisions every team had a mob. You had to be constantly on your guard at away matches as segregation was less stringent than it is now, and you could find yourself surrounded by opposition fans. I therefore regarded supporters of all other teams as the "enemy" and this attitude has stayed with me, even though I am now 60. I have no desire to drink or fraternise with away fans no matter how peaceful they may be.

Charlton were brilliant at Fans United & have had their own exile years so they are a good call.

The Billy Sharp who plays for Southampton was signed from Donny in January. Were there two Billy Sharp's at Donny?

Whoosh

Donny fans would have you believe that billy sharp was in fact killed when lewis dunk pummeled his legs into oblivion. Which ultimately resulted in them finishing bottom, instead of top, which is where they would have finished had the late billy sharp not met is maker.

I'd have probably have voted for Charlton if they'd been on the poll. Probably. Despite the advertising posters and cheap coaches (which after all weren't done by the fans themselves) I'll never forget their turnout at Fans Utd, and like us they've lost their home and been in exile so they could really empathise with us. Ultimately though I don't feel an affinity with any other league club; we've all got decent fans and we've all got wankers.

High up on the South Downs.
No mention of St Pauli - the brown shirted team from the red light district?

I'd have to go for Charlton if anybody. Don't really believe in chums and am even good at falling out with other BHA.

They sent the largest overseas contingent to both games, but I wouldn't say there's a real affinity between the fans. Quite a few Brighton fans (including me) support them in Germany, and not just for football reasons, but the two clubs have nothing in common.
