Simple question - I've made it so people can choose different ones.

TWO is probably most people's favourite but I do think the first series - just written by Richard Curtis (in the days when he wasn't a prick) without Ben Elton - is a bit unfairly overlooked.

4 was just brilliant. 2 was also very good.

3 was an odd one, I think its a bit underrated. People seem to think it was a bit poor but I thought it was really good.

I haven't seen 1 for years but I remember it being a bit more off the wall than the other series.

ONE was a bit hit and miss though. It certainly had its moments, but it needed some of Ben Elton's gratuitous knob gags to achieve a proper balance and stop it sounding like it was written for a public school end of term revue.

But I voted for all four of them - becasue I could.

I voted for two and four, two was great for poking fun at a queen who was a bit of a megalomaniac and four showed the futility of certain parts of WWI and the blind stupidity of the men who led our forces at the time...all delivered in a superb humorous way.

Yes, but the eunuchs and the jumping Jews of Jerusalem and the witchsmeller pursuivant and Brian Blessed and Peter Cook and the fat Spanish infanta were all BRILLIANT.

I went for 1; the witchsmeller poursuivant episode was the funniest single episode of all and it also had Peter Cook in it - worth it for that alone.

Will you be doing a Honey Badger stylee flounce when #1 gets trounced? If so, will you let me know when, so I can raid the fridge and get comfortable? Thanks.
