Sorry, this is nothing to do with dispute at the club!
It's about my misunderstanding of the word discourse, formed in 1979 listening to Margaret Thatcher's victory speech. The context in which she used it implies it means disagreement or confrontation, but I've only just checked its spelling to use the word and I find it means no such thing.
