There was 10 mins 56 secs at the Doncaster match, and that was just for the second half. But I was thinking there must have been longer stoppages, perhaps when a player has broken his leg?

I remember seeing Gerry Ryan tragically getting a career ending leg break at the Goldstone. In those days any more than 4 mins stoppage was unheard of.

Absolutely abysmal-don't care if it helped us score(ok just a little)but that is an appalling amount of extra time to be played.

Only slightly related, but I went to a SSC final at Priory Lane a few years ago, and there were two injuries that required ambulances, and extra time, and the 3 o'clock KO finished after 6pm!

Why? The BS injury took a fair bit of time to sort out, and six minutes injury time was indicated, then another long injury break, plus another added minute for that, as we were not technically into the six minutes
Seemed about right to me...

It was a lot of injury time but all of it justified. I feel sorry for Sharp but there was an awful lot of time wasting going on by the Donny players at other times and if you are gonna play that game you have to expect to concede in any added time.
Obviously every team does it but today it back fired on Donny.
