you have been part of at a league football ground ?

Mine was Arsenal v Man Utd at Highbury 87/88 season.
If I remember correctly it was around 57,000

McClair missed a pen in the last few mins. Arsenal won 2-1.

Stood with around 15000 Man Utd fans on the clock end. Pay on the day, got in as a junior, although I was 17, cost £2.60. £3.10 for a days capital card. 4 pack of Holsten pils for the journey for around £2. Cheap day out or would of been if me and my mate did not get fleeced in a 'peep show' club in Soho, but thats another story :shootself

This is spookey, I could have written an almost identical story except mine was 1985 and the beer was Carlsberg

33,685 at smellhurst park 7/10/78 ( just checked in my Albion bible ) Was no way as good as being packed in the north stand at the Goldstone with 30,000 plus crowds though.

Elland Rd Leeds v Man Utd just after McQueen and Jordan had gone to Old Trafford from Leeds. The capacity was 40,000 but I'm sure there were more than that in there as people were standing everywhere.

I may be wrong but i think that was 'the game' which started the trouble between the 2 clubs.
