What waas your best ever season?

I's ever so slightly give it to 71/72, my 1st promotion.

This is only just ahead of 76/77, which was folowed by 2 more great seasons.

Hat's off to the person who went for the protest season(s). It's another age now but we really trailblazed away and united in the fight to save our club and just look where we are now.

Last season was great, this one is already looking better. I've always felt sorry for the youngsters who missed out on our 'Glory Years' but hey, we have another golden age now so enjoy, we deserve it!

71/72 special as was my first promotion! 76/77 had it all! and the protest years made me the proudest!

For those of us old enough to remember it, 1964/65 was pretty special. Ex-England international Bobby Smith leading the line, free-flowing high scoring football (102 League goals scored ), big crowds at the Goldstone ( Average 17,500 ) with over 31,000 there on the night the Albion clinched the title, it all added up to a magical time for a 13 year-old. I think that season just pips all the other promotion years as my favourite.
