If Leon Knight missed a drugs test - would you all be so harsh? I think that Ferdinand is being made an example of, when there have been many players who have been guilty of this before and they have been dealt with in-house. If it is true and he phoned to come back, only to be told it was too late, then the punishment should not be so much - personally 3 months and a huge fine.

I'm sorry but if I was in a Job where it was compulsory to take a drugs test and if found positive I would lose my job then I would have to see it this way...

1. Why has he not agreed to do test when being asked...(Something to hide?)
and
2. Why and HOW can you forget to take this all important test?

He has noe excuse!!! As done any professional footballer no matter what league they may be in!!
