I thought he as meant to be a player Mcgee rated and wanted to sign. Or as normal was that simply the smokescreen to nothing happening at the start of pre season.:flameboun

I don't like, nor want the player here. He didn't do spectacular well down here and it didn't give CKR a boost.

Erm, Yes he did and yes it did.

2 in 5 was it? Better than anything we have in our current squad

I am baffled as to why most on here don't want the bloke.

Fair enough, the bloke may be vunerable to injuries, but he'd score goals in this league - we looked much more of a threat up front when he played - Millwall and Ipswich two prime examples, how often do we score twice away from home?

He was good at Millwall, but nothing exceptional otherwise.

We played quite well once GNW arrived. Granted, we were woeful once we were relegated but he made a big difference against Millwall and Ipswich. Personally, I thought he was everything we were missing in a target man - he showed Mccammon what a good target man plays like.

He was apparently all set to sign for Millwall on loan before they pulled the plug at the 11th hour (Probably why he played so well there) and I think he said he wasn't interested in coming here permanently either.

I seem to remember him saying there were a few clubs interested including us. No doubt we are bottom of his list so if he doesn't move to either of the others we may still have a chance of getting him.

Perhaps we should go for a loan rather than a permanent deal

f*** this shit I would quite happily take any of GNW, Dichio, Horsfield, Shipperley or Burgess at the mo. We need someone and any one of those 5 or like will do.

To be fair Id be happy to see McCammon as target man. So any of those id be over the moon with.
