What friendlies are you going to attend?

Stalybridge Celtic v Oldham will be my first of the new season, seeing as the stripes are not coming anywhere near the north of Enlgand.

Just realised we'll be on holiday the week the Worthing game's on, which is a pig as it's about 250 yards from my house!

Still, will prolly get to the Lewes and Crawley games, and maybe one other if it's at Withdean. Pity there's no-one tasty in the line-up though ...

Yeah I think it is, but we are limited in the fact that were not allowed to play pre-season friendlys at home. I cant somehow envisage QPR going away to amstadam to play Ajax. If we could play at home we could have some decent games.

I think with some foreign sides it is deemed polite to accept offers of friendly games. I remember reading about a pub team who go a game on their spanish tour cancelled and ended up playing a team of Real Madrid trialists at the Madrid training ground. When I was younger I played against Roda JC's youth team on a tour of Holland. Im sure Valencia are playing a Div 1 team as well, though cant remember which one. It is a shame we cannot play home games because Im sure we could have gone someone decent.
