I would not spunk a huge chunk on just one car.

I would buy a fleet of cars. A '65 Mustang Shelby, an Aston Martin DB2/4, a Triumph Stag, a Morgan and perhaps a 1907(ish) banger to ensure I was elligible for the London to Brighton car rally. Probably a few cars I have forgotten about.

Actually, that Ferrari 328 has gone and got me aroused now. I'm really struggling to decide between that and the Aston DBS.

Like BoF, I'd buy a fleet. However, it'd be extremely mundane.

I'd have to get the DMC-12 for my time travel fantasies, but beyond that it'd be lots of cheap, rusty Italian and Rover units from the past 20 years. Alfa GTV, MG ZR160+, etc. I like my cars inconsistent and at least a wee bit fast - but crap enough I can park them at footie and come back and find them intact.
