£ 136575 expenses claim 2005/2006 plus his £ 59868 salary and pension, thats £ 196443

A shocking waste of tax payers money

Probably about the same amount as the anti-Falmer legal bill will be.

Don't forget he has to pay his staff out of those expenses. (I'd want to be paid LOTS for putting up with him as a boss) And rent his office.

And -- whatever I think of Baker -- just over fifty grand is reasonable for an MP.

Its by no means the worst.

He is a **** over Falmer, but a good MP locally respected on other issues.

3. £ 82085 staffing allowances

Abort, retry, fail
I feel the utmost respect for him with his environmental crusades and as DIN says, £136k is a drop in the ocean when compared to some MPs. However, I will never forgive his antics re: Falmer and the downright lies that he spins off.

Let it go GARTH, Falmer will be won on the streets of Brighton and Hove, not in some backwater.

Baker will NOT loose his seat over Falmer.
