zomowskis (?) is in southend pond (?) by the free hospital/hampstead heath overground station. very nice polish restaurant.

and today somebody recommended an argentine steak house in hamsptead that was apparently amazing. i want to go there - massive slabs of meat.

not west hampstead but close enough.

These are not strictly in West Hampstead, but all are very good (my brother lives in Belsize Park)

Italian - Artigiano - Belsize Terrace, NW3 - good but a little expensive

Grill - Tootsie's Grill - Haverstock Hill, NW3 - huge, delicious steaks, very good value - right by Belsize Park Tube Station

Singaporean - Singapore Grill - Fairfax Road, NW6 - right by Swiss Cottage Tube Station - very interesting interpretation of Chinese/Singaporean food.

Sorry, I was looking at NSC during worktime, so not really concentrating. Both Artigiano and the Singapore Garden have plenty of vegetarian choices, including loads of pasta at the Artigiano.
