We could learn a lot from Orient...

...saw the Orient game yesterday and they played some lovely football throughout and thoroughly deserved the win.

They didnt play CRAP little 5 yaurd passes, they switched it from side to side at pace and their movement was excellent.

Shane Tudor, John Mackie (who I said we should sign when he was released by Reading) and Easton were all excellent and would improve our team.

They passed it when they could and played safe when they had to, they hassled, played with passion and variety and looked a far better team then we have in recent months.

One swallow makes a summer eh Richie? It's a cup shock, if they had to play them every week on most occasions they would be beaten.

Something to learn from Leyton Orient? Ha, don't make me laugh.

Cup games matter not one jot...look at how we played at Spurs...If we had played like that every game after we would be in the Premiership by now.

I was meaning the way they played. They passed it at pace and never tried to do anything they were not capable of.

They are currently TWO leagues lower then us playing a team ONE league higher but still managed to pass the ball better then I have seen us manage all season.

Surely that tells you something about our players.

Yeah Lockwood played and was good but according to my mate who is an Orient fan he dosnt always play like that.

I would gladly have Mackie or Easton in our team and Shane Tudor looked very impressive on the wing.

Nope. Probably says more about Fulham.

Didn't Coleman call Fulham an absolute disgrace, or words to that effect?? Sure Orient played well, but the chances of that happening on a regular occasion are slim to say the least.

no they raised their game for the occasion same as ours did for spurs, its the FA cup.

Could we learn a few tricks from Burton Albion as well?

I was at Coventry and have been at every home game this season and our passing in general is awful.

We all tend to bunch up on one wing or the other, pass the ball in little five yaurd triangles then either lose the ball or it goes back to Butters who nails it down the line in the air.

We rarely switch the play effectively and never stretch teams well.

Normally we all group up, someone loses the ball, the other team switch it and we are all out of shape and lopsided leaving their winger with half the pitch to run at our full back.

The point I was making was that even League 2 teams pass it better then us.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
I dont know whether to LAUGH or CRY with you MORRIS.

Orient raised their game because it was their biggest day out since the used to come 'occasionally' to the Goldstone.

Had we been in their shoes we would have had a decent chance as well, cant remember the last time we let ourselves dopwn badly in a really 'big' game like that.

Craig Easton is one of the consistantly WORST players I have ever seen (and believe me the amount of times he had a howler against my beloved dons could be no coincidence).

Now SHUT IT.
