...but it does affect your locality as well.
You may recall that we had some Surrey 'property developer' called Andrew Smith sniffing around Wrexham...he certainly, on one occasion, stopped a possible deal going through.
His 'business' is a company called United Plot Owners Ltd (UPA)...a nice little earner...buy agricultural land on the cheap, divide into plots, sell plots at a considerable profit etc.
One of these plots is at Bramber and, at present, it is at the planning application stage...and, guess what, he has a load of plot owners to support his bid, despite the fact the land is greenbelt and a floodplain!! It is also noticable that we are aware that at least 4 of his 'supporters' are mates who he has business dealings with...and three supposedly independent posters have all spelt 'barely' as 'bearly'!!!This guy has never built anything but is good at producing pretty plans.
We have started objecting to the change of use he is applying for...however, it is certainly nearer your neck of the woods and some of you may even know the site.
You can make a submission on the application at
http://consultation.limehouse.co.uk/horsham/drafts/10/chapter_538.html

The site is at Bramber and is ADS16 towards the bottom of the list. If you register (free and data protected) you can post your view on his application to build on a floodplain by selecting "Add" under ADS16. If you support his application, fine...if not, come and join our objections against a man who has tried to shaft a lower league club.
If you object, please be civil and deal with valid reasons why houses should not be built on a floodplain (hmm....think Lewes!).

Thank you, from North Wales, in advance
