Very dody landline cold call

Landline rang, I answered, it went straight to a yank recorded voice saying "YOur call is important please wait for next available agent". I hung up, checked the line still playing some crappy music down phone and same message. Been playing now for 40 mins, nomatter how many timkes I hang up it is still tying up my line. It's making me furious. Anyone else had this? What to do?

I often wish I had a device that could divert these calls to a special hotline, owned by me, that charged the caller £150 per minute.
