Great images. Where did they come from, and are there any larger versions?

(I've got a large desktop...)

Edit: just spotted them on Seagulls website, so I guess the answer is "no".

Is it just me or do the "Seagulls" in the seats look absolutely crap?

The one in the WSU isn't too bad, but it could be made with smoother lines.
The NS ones are terrible though.

Those blue/white stripes really show up at night.

The seagulls are a work in progress - do you think people went into the Sistine Chapel and said - 'OI! MICHELANGELO! NO! What THAT needs is some cherubim and seraphim, you prannett!'

the seagulls are picked out in seats for god's sake. They're always going to look a bit Mario. Far far better than SEAGULLS or stripes if you ask me.

I have a felling that every photo posted from the inside of the stadium from now on is going to end up with people griping about the seagulls, they are not perfect but they are going to covered up with people sitting on them so not that bothered about it

I think the point about the seagulls as has been shown by various aerial shots is that they look great from immediately above or in front but at an angle a bit crap. Therefore there is probably no position where all the seagulls look good, but individually they probably all do the job.
