is currently on loan with Northampton banging em in...Leicester have said he is surplus and that anyone who wants him can have him...for free...i thought he was superb when on loan and would love to sign him on a free

We can always try and get him, asking him to take a pay cut or even asking Leicester to pay some of his wages.
The worst case scenario: he tells us to get stuffed, the best we sign him :clap2:

he's on loan, does'nt mean they are paying all his wages, probably nothing or very little! Either way they maybe loaded for all you know :)

Northampton are owned by a couple of brothers that own all the land around the ground. They are not short of a few quid.

correct - still don't think we can afford him - he was definitely on 17K a week at Leicester (good old Peter Taylor!!!)- he would need to take a pretty hefty drop to accept what we could pay him - 2/3 maybe 4k tops???
