i have very little in savings, you only live once so why not enjoy it while you can,
joke or not i really dont like the tone of your post, football is or was built on working class people,maybe some of these people would prefer to spend 50 odd quid on watching a match and having a night out instead of putting it in the bank and i say good luck to them,as long as they are working and not scrounging or stealing ,what right have you got to put them down?

I think a married couple with 2 kids need around a 50-60k joint income to get by down here. A single man running a home ( like me ) needs around 35- 40k to stand still and no go in debt.
I looked at rental properties with the other half and her 2 kids a couple of weeks ago and a modest 3 bedder was around £ 1300-£ 1400 pm , thats around £ 16000 pa, gross that up and thats equivalent to a salary of £ 25000 per annum and thats just 1 bill.
