Time to try Four Four Two tonight? Thoughts on formation?

Based on the issue with painter and finding a position for Vincente...i like the idea of a 3-5-2. Two marking CB (Cook and Dunk, leaving Greer spare) holding midfielders in Bridcutt and Vincelot (which i think is his best position based on where he played for Daggers), with attacking midfield position provided by Vincente. I have to admit not being a fan of Dicker, especially with two other creative midfielders, he just looks short of pace and lethargic.

GK Ankergren
LCB Cook
CB Dunk
RCB Greer
LWB Noone
CM Vincelot
CM Bridcutt
RWB Calderon
AM Vincente
F Mackail-Smith
F Hoskins

Subs:
Brezovan
Sparrow
Harley
Dicker
Barnes

However, just an opinion and in Gus we trust!!!!

If you are going to play Vicente on the wing (which I doubt Gus will do ever) surely you'd play him on the correct one?

I would not have him as a winger, winger. More a midfielder tucking in on the right allowing Calderon to get round him and allow Vicente to get more involved on the ball than if stuck out on the touchline.

I'd like to see an all-out attacking formation:

Calderon - Dunk - Greer - Vincelot
Noone - Vicente - Spazz - LuaLua
----- Hoskins - CMS -----

Think Sparrow did enough to start again. Expecting the same line up as Hull with an outside chance of Hoskins starting ahead of Barnes. Would prefer to have Vincelot starting ahead of Dicker myself though

Which is which one as he has a very good left foot but spent alot of time on the right cutting inside.

Probably the left one seeing as he has played 150 odd times for Valencia and 38 times for Spain there.

We've shipped goals left right and centre. We have struggled with the physical side at times. Saturday saw us set up to be solid first and foremost. Would be a massive mistake to deviate from that against a very physical side.

Same team but make changes earlier if required

i'd go for a counter attacking pacy style in this formation, with the 3 behind CMS swapping positions and generally causing MAYHEM.

Casper
calde, greer, dunk, painter,
bridcutt, dicker
Noone Vicente Hoskins
CMS

Bench
Brez
vincelot
sparrow
lualua
barnes
