Just a thought as of 1st of January a new act comes into effect.

Basically if you write to any public authority including Lewes Council and ask for anything you want to know.
The only conditions are:
1) Its legible
2) Its in a written format the only exception is text messages
3) The information does not fall under the Data Protection act or breach security.

In return the authority will have to reply within 20 days providing the information requested.
If you can write in another language they have to translate the information and reply.

Lewes Council have cost our club a lot of money its our turn now!!
Send email letters cost them a fortune

They have a lot of ways out of giving you info. Whereas over here they have no way to weasel out and HAVE to give it to you - but can charge for the privilidge (usually E20).

In the US you can be given the document you wanted and find the ENTIRE document has been blacked out :lolol: :lolol:

Not Luton! Thank God
You can actually find out useful stuff if you ask the right questions.

You could probably get your hands on any letters written by LDC to 2jags or maybe brighton and hove council.

The information falls in to 2 types structered and unstructered. They have to have a log of all the structered types of information. This will include letters, meetings etc. Unstructered information is things like personal e-mails, post-it notes and the like. They do not need to give you this information unless you ask specifcal for it.

Your best bet is to ask direct questions, like "What information do you have you have in relation to planning application and your objections to it, by and the Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club to build a new stadium at Falmer.
