They don't like Radio 4 up North

Interesting feature on theToday program this morning on why not many people Up North listen to Radio 4. The main reason is that Northerners get put off by Southern accents. It's not the BBC's fault that Northerners are too stupid to understand. May be it's more down to their obsession with the North / South divide.
