Where was Portillo staring at you GC (and why?)?

He gets around, he was the first person I saw as I walked into the opera house on Monday night.

My best friend from school, Matt, who's now president of the University of London Union, once got very excited because he'd been to the opera and urinated next to Michael Portillo.

(They were both standing next to each other in the gents... let me clear that one up).

He was the after dinner speaker at the conference I provided support for. He came marching in as I was going out (I wasn't invited to the dinner) It was a very scary, unprovoked stare - a bit like the one he used to give Paxman. I can't work out if he hated the sight of me or fancied me.

Actually, he was probably trying to work out why some urchin in a Tesco Value suit had been invited to hear him speak. :lolol:
