Does it use the Wii Motion Plus?
"MotionPlus arrived too late for the developers to implement it but what's there is robust enough, fully matching our idle dreams of what a cricket game on the Wii should be. Lining up a shot involves pointing the remote where you want the ball to fly, and come the delivery it's a case of swinging at the right time with the buttons acting as shot modifiers. "
Interesting, given that the Motion Plus has been available to developers for about a year it does seem strange that it has not been incorporated yet into the game, suggesting that Codemasters have done a late port from another console. The problem with the Wii Remote's responsiveness is well documented, but probably best to see the reviews before splashing the cash.
Hmmm... friend who's played it (with KP, no less), says it's not played from first-person perspective.
Guess the screenshots should have made that obvious, but it has me worried.
Not really - would be a different slant on the baseball game on Wii Sports, shirley?First person perspective would make two player games difficult I imagine.
