I am sipping some wine bought for me by an 18 year old german girl who has just gone upstairs for a shower. And I have just impressed her with my most favourite german phrase.

"Ich kon des schlessel ech finden"
(translates to: 'I can't find the key')

Just back for 9 days thankfully! Back for my Dad's 60th. Of course, it turns out to be the only weekend with no football. But no fear, I will be back for my Mums 60th in February and have got my place on the NSC Sponsored Match at home to Sunderland
