The club seem to be trying to freeze out any supporters between the ages of 18 and 21.
First, the club fail to include an under-21 season ticket at the Amex, meaning that my season ticket price will rise from about £124 to at least £395. That's almost three times more expensive!
Then, the club disregard all current under-21 season tickets for the Portsmouth game by not having an under-21 price.
Is there a new club policy to cut down on the number of student/young fans? If so, why? If not, then why are the club ignoring such an important age bracket for the future of the club.
We have a new 22,500-seater stadium but we had an average 6092 attendance in 2008/09, 6467 in 2009/10 and even this season it is only 6985. The club will probably have few problems selling out the Amex at the start but if the club really want a larger fanbase in the longer term, they have to include students and not exclude them.
