I'd love it to be Dave Penney - proven track record for turning clubs around...

That would be sound as Butch has some managerial experience but not at this level. I wouldn't discount somebody like Tony Adams though.

I think that Donny's ex manager Dave Penny could be in the frame.

It's got Wilkins written all over it... reading past comments about McGhee & Booker sitting at one end of the dugout, with Wilkins at the other end suggests MM knew Wilkins was after his job.

Deano deserves the job... knows the young players so won't be too loyal to the old guard, and did a fine job with the youth team... Get in John Byrne or Ian Chapman as assistant I say :clap2:

Wilkins seemed to be doing most the work in the dug out match days.

As long as its not Wilkins or someone unproven I will be happy, However it is most likley to be Wilkins and I think the decison will be regretted.

Springfield
Dean Wilkins 6/4

Danny Wilson 3-1 ( I still think he'll do a good job if he's given the right team)

Liam Brady 5-1 (Stranger things have happened)

David Penny 6-1

Alan Curbishly 75-1

Sven f*** OFF

Mark McGhe 10-1 (It was all a mistake, KNight meant to sack Martin Perry instead)

These odds are from Springfield's number on book markers, and are unofficial... exxxxxxxxxcellent
